Badge

Badge is worked as a spiral so no joining rounds until the outer edge.

Use MC.

R1: 6 sc into magic loop [6]
R2: inc x6 [12]
R3: (sc, inc) x6 [18]
R4: (inc, 2 sc) x6 [24]
R5: (2 sc, inc, sc) x6 [30]
R6: (inc, 4 sc) x6 [36]
R7: (3 sc, inc, 2 sc) x6, at last sc pull through with SC [42]
R8: slst, (inc with hdc, 6 hdc) x6, last hdc is made into the first slst, slst [48]

Fasten off and hide the yarn ends.

Cake

If the sides of the cake are not complitely straight or cherry not round enough, you can make corrections when sewing it to the badge.

R1: with yellow, ch 11
R2: hdc to 3rd ch from the hook, 8 hdc, turn [9]
R3: with red ch, 9 sc, turn [9]
R4: yellow ch, 2 sc, white sc, yellow 2 sc, white sc, yellow sc, white, sc, yellow sc, turn [9]
R5: white ch, 2 sc, yellow sc, white 2 sc, yellow sc, white 3 sc, turn [9]
R6: ch, 9 sc [9]
R7: attach red to 4th sc of previous row, ch, 2 sc, turn [2]
R8: ch, dec [1]

Sew in place and hide the yarn ends.
